The Power Source 12-5V/3A Always ON (RED) v2 is a dedicated supply unit designed to deliver a constant 12.5 V at up to 3 A output for Carpe Iter CI Pads (v1, v3, v4, v4b). Unlike standard power sources that automatically switch off under low voltage conditions, this “Always ON” version ensures uninterrupted power delivery from the motorcycle electrical system.

This power source is engineered to overcome problems with auto-switching power supplies on motorcycles that cannot maintain voltage levels above the switching threshold under load. Warning & Best Practice

When connected directly to the bike battery, the power source will draw current continuously, which may lead to significant battery discharge if the engine is not running.
