The DMD-T665 Nav Phone is a purpose-built Android navigation device designed for motorcycle and off-road riders. It combines precise navigation, rugged construction and full integration with the DMD2 ecosystem.
Power Supply & Motorcycle Integration
The DMD-T665 is designed to be used with its dedicated motorcycle cradle and is not primarily powered via the USB-C port during normal use.
Power is supplied through pogo-pin contacts in the cradle
Handles both power delivery and control signals (e.g. Remote 2)
Ensures a clean, vibration-resistant setup without exposed cables
For direct connection to the motorcycle battery, a 12V to 5V converter is required and must be connected to the cradle power cable.
Alternatively, the cradle can be powered using a USB-A to M9 adapter cable, allowing the device to run from a standard motorcycle USB outlet.
Remote 2 Integration
To use the DMD Remote 2, the version with the splitter cable for DMD-T665 is required. This allows simultaneous power supply and signal transmission.
