Why Caretta

Caretta combines rugged, motorcycle-specific hardware (also suitable for quads and side-by-sides) with the versatility of Android. Unlike traditional sat-navs, it supports the Google Play Store, so you can run your preferred navigation apps just like on an Android tablet or phone.

LTE Compatibility (Important)

Caretta’s LTE section is designed for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Outside EMEA, LTE compatibility is not guaranteed and Caretta should be considered Wi-Fi only. If in doubt, check with your GSM operator before purchasing.

OBD Adapter Cables (Supported)

• KTM / Husqvarna: all CAN bus models with 6-pin socket
• Yamaha: all CAN bus models with 4-pin socket
• Support for other bikes is in planning

The Smart Cradle

This is not just a holder. The cradle includes electronics designed for direct motorcycle integration and enhanced safety.

Mounting Notes

For default landscape orientation, any mounting solution can be used. For portrait orientation, you need the Carpe Iter AMPS base for Caretta, which compensates for the triangular shape of Caretta and the cradle.
